Hi, I’m Devin Washington.

Kingdom Mathematics LLC was officially launched in June 2026, but my passion for pouring into the youth began back in 2021. I started my journey as a substitute teacher at my alma mater, Lincoln Middle School in Lancaster, PA. Although I studied speech therapy in college, I quickly realized my heart belonged in the classroom. I decided then to pivot my career to become a mathematics teacher. After five years of classroom experience, I am now transitioning into private tutoring. My plan is to keep the same approach I carried in the classroom: a belief that I was called to be your student’s math teacher "for such a time as this." I aim to serve my students well, teach from a firm foundation, and lead by example.

Reflecting on my years in the classroom, I’ve realized that I haven’t had a single student who was truly "bad" at math. I’ve only seen students who lacked confidence in their own abilities, or who simply fell behind due to circumstances beyond their control. As a tutor, my goal is to target those gaps specifically, while pushing on-track students even further. I want to give every student the 1-on-1 attention and support that isn't always possible in a classroom of 18-25 students.

Kingdom Mathematics LLC is a Christian-based professional tutoring service, specializing in grades 5-9. While my approach is strictly educational—meaning, I do not preach or push religion upon any student—I am transparent and unapologetic about my branding. I believe that "The Kingdom of God is at hand," and that calling drives me to serve my clients with excellence, integrity, and a serious sense of professional responsibility.
